Fees and Medical Aid

How does payment work?
This is a cash practice. Clients are responsible for settling session fees after each session via card or immediate EFT. You may then claim directly from your medical aid depending on your benefits.

Do you accept medical aid?
Sessions may be claimed from South African medical aids if your plan includes psychological benefits. Each medical scheme differs, so clients are encouraged to verify coverage in advance. I provide invoices and statements to support claims.​

I only claim directly from Discovery run medical aids. For all other medical aids I ask that you claim back yourself.

What is a Prescribed Minimum Benefit (PMB) and do I qualify?
PMB conditions are legally protected diagnoses that medical aids and hospital plans must cover. If you meet the criteria for a qualifying condition, I can assist you with the PMB application. Approved PMB cases generally receive approximately 12- 15 therapy sessions covered by medical aid. Only certain conditions qualify, and coverage is determined by your scheme.

Are late cancellations charged?
Yes — cancellations made within 24 hours of the session may incur a late cancellation fee, as the time is reserved exclusively for you.
